Another Zaha thwarted – could not get inside again. But another wonderful new endeavor nonetheless to this neighborhood. When asked where else to go in London- I had all but given up on my pursuits- but as luck would have it, I took my grit and thanks to skills well practiced, I was able to perform at a moment’s notice. A little talent and a lot of luck I recently read.
And as luck would have it, this building was the last stop in the neighborhood which means the approach to it was from across the water coming from the V&A East Storehouse and gives the observer the best view of its external shape.
I don’t know how to acquire a pass to enter but it’s worth a shot even if it serves as an excuse to come back as the park itself was highly organized with opportunities to bike. I still haven’t gotten on a bike in London so this could be my chance to get my legs metaphorically wet (as I certainly wouldn’t at the aquatics centre itself laughably).
