London: Royal Opera House

It was a mistake to rush this visit. Crammed between afternoon tea at the Corinthia and reservations at Petersham Nurseries, I judged wrong. While staying for just the first half of Don Giovanni was the right call, I should have built in more time to take photos- either getting their earlier (we had major taxi issues with the Queen’s procession preparations blocking off all possible access) or lingering a bit at the interval.

But, like with many of these initial visits- the Royal Opera House is worth another visit, both for the performance (by the actors on stage and attendees off) and for the building as well. I’ll be back.
