So gutted by Zaha Hadid’s death. Talk about someone with vision.
This wasn’t on one my list either but what a view from the High Line. It reminded me a bit of the honeycomb high rises in Chicago- not really sure how those curves spaced work out in the end- but they are memorable no doubt.
I would love to arrange an interior tour of this one- being residential I’m always so curious about the livability of the layouts. Here’s another one where the corners are well played- what beautiful windows. And also to see the building in the evening- I can imagine some special lighting bringing new vantage points to the execution detail.
I am hoping to visit more of her public work.
