La Défense. Hands down one of my favorite buildings of all times. I haven’t been inside or even returned to the site since my first and only visit in 1999. And I’ve been back to Paris many times since then.
The beauty of this building ties into the context of the city of Paris, the direct line from Louvre to Arc de Triomphe to La Défense.
It directly calls to be a more modern, dramatic version by Rem Koolhaus in Beijing- on my wish list to visit.
This building is really worth the visit. I have never regretted it and I regret every time I go to Paris and don’t have the chance to visit again.
