Thwarted by closure days at Palais Garnier, but welcomed by Galeries Lafayette and stumbled into at Galerie Vivienne.
Bonne nuit et bonjour à Paris. From the Louvre- my first time walking through at night, it’s truly magical (although my run through in the morning on a previous trip is pretty great too)- to a view a few hours later from the rooftop balcony the former home of Prince Roland Bonaparte, “City of Lights” indeed Paris was and still is. And well, even if you aren’t ready for the day, it cannot always be night.
